RESOURCE USE & PERMISSIONS

Personal-use guidance

For your family’s everyday play.

Our resources are designed to support your family as you explore more independent play. Here’s how you can download, print, and use them—and when to ask for permission.

WHAT’S ALLOWED

Clear guidance for
using and sharing your resources.

A few simple boundaries help keep IndieSteps Studio resources for the families who purchase them.

PERSONAL USE

Your personal-use license

Your purchase allows you to use the resources for personal, non-commercial use within one household.

  • Download and save the files on your personal devices.
  • Print copies for use with the children in your household.
  • Reprint activity cards or planner pages when you need them.
  • Let a caregiver use your copies while supporting your child.
Purchasing the resources does not transfer ownership of the content or include resale rights.
SHARING

Sharing and redistribution

Please keep the digital files and download links for your household’s use.

  • Do not give or sell copies to other households.
  • Do not upload the resources to websites, social media groups, or shared libraries for others to access.
  • Do not resell, sublicense, or include the resources in another product, course, or bundle.
  • Do not repackage the content or present it as your own work.
If you’d like to recommend IndieSteps Studio, please share a link to our store so another family can explore the resources for themselves.

CLASSROOM, GROUP, OR PROFESSIONAL USE

Planning to use the resources
beyond your household?

The standard purchase covers household use. Please contact us to discuss permission for use in a classroom, childcare setting, workshop, or professional practice before copying or distributing materials to a group.

Requesting permission

  • The resource you’d like to use.
  • How and where you plan to use it.
  • The number of people or households involved.
  • Whether you plan to share printed copies, digital files, or extracts.
Please wait for written permission before proceeding with a use outside your license.

NOT SURE WHAT’S ALLOWED?

Tell us what you have in mind,
and we can clarify the permission you need.

If your planned use falls outside personal household use, contact us before sharing or distributing the materials.
